Okto offers a differentiated, high- availability infrastructure, with 3 datacenters to support voice and data services. With 99.5% SLA, we have the most modern technology to ensure business continuity. We count on uninterrupted services of operation at our datacenters, such as: security systems, fire control, climate control and energy control, ensuring customers a reliable and safe physical environment.

We have a staff available 24x7x365, highly qualified and certified by major players on the market in various segments of Networking, Security, Database, Capacity Planning, and Monitoring, among others. We count on tools for automated proactive monitoring of servers, links, operators and applications on different platforms, carrying out automated activities of detection of failures and execution of preventive routines.

To manage the complexity of the equipment that make up our infrastructure, Okto maintains a team of highly-skilled professionals in the market of telecom/IT/Datacenter, certified by Cisco, IBM, IPL, RHCE, ISC, ITIL, COBIT, and MCSO, maintaining the operational platform to support thousands of transactions per minute and fulfill the SLAs signed with our customers.

Mission Critical

To maintain and fulfill the 99.5% SLA, we have high-performance equipment and solutions, such as database cluster, firewall failover, redundant links and load balance among servers.

Seeking the ongoing evolution in our PC environment, we consolidated our servers using the virtualization of critical areas at our data center. That is how we guarantee extra speed in the allocation of new resources for our clients and partners.

Connections

We use dedicated and redundant connections from different operators, dedicated links with wireless operators and direct links with clients that have mission-critical services. At our offices we have internet link and dedicated link between our office and our datacenter, assuring availability and security in access to the systems.

Processing, connectivity and storage

Okto uses several dedicated servers in its hardware architecture, allocated in blocks according to their functions and their clients. We have independent and redundant environments for our entertainment applications, promotions and corporate-business applications.

We have the latest generation equipment provided by major players on the market:

• We use SAN and ISCSI for connection with high-performance storage configured in RAID 10 or RAID 5, depending on the throughput required for each application.

• High-performance operating system and database, licensed with the rights to support, access to the knowledge base, right to update patches and bugfix patches, as well as 24x7x365 support.

On the issue of security, in addition to the technological security resources such as firewalls, IDS, IPS, QOS, backup/restore and hardening, we have a strict security policy to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. We seek to comply with the best practices on the market, such as ISO 27001 and ISO 17799, and we're flexible to adapt and adopt new security standards demanded by clients or partners.

Preventive/Corrective Maintenance

To maintain our platforms, we operate in a preventive manner, with minimal downtime for corrective maintenance, because our computational structure-with clusters and load balancing-allows us to implement incident corrective actions while in full production. If preventive downtime is necessary, we have internal processes based on the best practices of IT governance.
