Okto was the highlight on the 2008 list of the “The 100 Fastest Growing Small and Medium Size Companies in Brazil”, from a Deloitte survey published by Exame PME. The company came 2nd in the overall ranking. Okto’s success is attributed to a 609.9% expansion of its net revenues between 2005 and 2007.

100 Fastest-Growing Small and Medium-Size Enterprises in Brazil
Okto was showcased on the 2007 list of the "100 Fastest-Growing Small and Medium-Size Enterprises in Brazil," a survey conducted Deloitte, published by "Exame PME" magazine. The company placed 3rd in the overall ranking, and placed first on the list of technology companies with the highest growth rate recorded in the period. This achievement by Okto is attributed to an increase of 1,015.2% in its net income from 2004 to 2006.
Okto closed out 2007 with revenues on the order of R$30 million, when it was responsible for the traffic of 450 million transactions (SMS, MMS, WAP-Push and Bluetooth) on wireless handsets.
Quality Standard Award in B2B/SBT
Through Okto's mobile marketing solution, the SBT television network has generated more than 40 million short messages on cell phones, offering parallel programming with quizzes, downloads, news, etc. The evolution of SBT's relationship channels favored the availability of the broadcaster's content in the new form of media, increasing interaction with its viewers anywhere, in real time.
The project was recognized in the "Media" category at the 2006 Quality Standard in B2B Awards. The award indicated the qualification of Information and Communication Technologies and the maturation of mobility on the market.
Award: ChangeMakers - Sport for a better world
The project "0800 Rede Jovem" won the ChangeMakers: Sport for a Better World award, given by Ashoka-a global nonprofit organization that is a pioneer in work and support for social entrepreneurs. In partnership with Instituto Oi Futuro, Okto has been responsible for the SMS messages containing information about employment opportunities, cultural events and free courses for young people. This initiative is part of Okto's program of Social Responsibility.
The initiative was showcased among the three winners, selected on a worldwide scale.
"Foto Repórter" award
In 2006, the "Foto Reporter" project by newspaper "O Estado de S. Paulo" was recognized as a pioneering case of relationship in Brazilian media at the 36th edition of the "Top of Marketing" event held by the ADVB (Association of Sales and Marketing Managers of Brazil).
The initiative was the first project of interactivity via multioperator MMS in Brazil. Through the Okto application, users can send photos taken on their cell phones to the newspaper "O Estado de S. Paulo." When an image is published, the person that sent it in is paid as a professional photographer.
